7 Cheap Amazon Finds for Fun Spring Break Looks

Penny pinching right before big trips is an art form that I know all too well. As I outfit planned for a week in Jamaica, I realized I needed to lift a couple of couch cushions to find some extra change. Unfortunately, all I was lucky enough to find was a few old crushed up gold fish. They were still tasty though, only a little stale :/.

Purchasing a plane ticket, a housing arrangement, food, and weekly activities were all priority when budgeting for the trip. What always seems to come down to the last second is buying the clothes to pack. For the past two summers, I have lived in the middle of cities, first in Copenhagen, then in New York. These cities were certainly not the perfect places to pull out bikinis or booty shorts. The closest I ever got to water in NYC were the drips that fell off of AC units and landed in my mouth while walking to work. Long story short, all of my beach clothes are circa 2014, aka high school, aka not happening.

The important thing is that you spend your money on the trip itself rather the clothes you pack (I’m not trying to be your mother right now, but she does have a point). Certainly, there are better wardrobe pieces to invest in than bathing suits. I mean, wardrobe investments should totally go to new designer bags!

But regardless, you still want to look good on your trip, right?
